We’ve discovered that Daniel doesn’t do things by halves. On the board of the Scone Chamber of Commerce and the committee of the Scone Horse Festival, he has thrown himself into the community of Scone. And this dynamic duo also supports the Scone Lions Club and volunteers for Ronald McDonald House.
For Daniel, a 4-minute drive to work vs their previous 1–1½ hour commute has been a blessing and allowed more time as a family. And the three-hour drive to Sydney means it’s easily accessible to visit friends and family for a weekend.
Seeing the Scone community as a vital connection and one to support, McDonalds Scone has sponsored the family picnic day of the Scone Horse Festival at Lake Glenbawn, the fireworks a big highlight for the Zammit kids. As was, helping Daddy to give out awards when McDonalds Scone sponsored the Beef Bonanza. And King of the Ranges, Scone Thoroughbreds Junior Rugby League and Scone Brumbies Rugby Club as well as the three primary schools of Scone: Scone Public School, Scone Grammar School and St Mary’s Primary School Scone and The Yellow Cottage have also benefited from McDonalds Scone support.
Daniel’s and Belinda’s daughters Alanah and Addison both attend The Yellow Cottage Preschool and Braxton will when he’s old enough. Visiting The Yellow Cottage prior to moving helped to seal the deal. They were impressed by the preschool and the team of educators.
